What does every job include?

  • A written estimate before any work starts, and your signature before anything is removed
  • Moisture mapping with meters and a thermal camera, so the real wet area is measured
  • A photo and a reason for every piece of flooring, baseboard or drywall that comes out
  • Dehumidifiers and air movers that stay until readings meet the dry standard
  • Moisture readings at every visit, and photos and drying logs you and your adjuster can use

That’s the same process whether it’s a clean-water leak or a Category 3 loss. The details are in how water extraction works, and our emergency water extraction in Mesquite page covers the basics.

What don’t we do?

  • Repair pipes, roofs or air conditioners. A plumber, roofer or HVAC technician fixes the source. We handle the water.
  • Negotiate your insurance claim or waive your deductible. Texas law bars contractors from both.
  • Remove mold covering 25 contiguous square feet or more. Texas requires a TDLR license for that work, and we’ll tell you when it applies.

Where do you work?

All of Mesquite, on both the Dallas County and Kaufman County sides, including ZIP codes 75149, 75150, 75180 and 75181. See the service area page for what tends to fail in each part of town, and the cost guide for 2026 price ranges.

Water damage service questions, answered

Do you handle fire damage or mold?

We focus on water. Mold that grows after a leak is a risk we dry to prevent, and mold covering 25 contiguous square feet or more needs a TDLR-licensed remediator. We’ll tell you when that applies.

Do you work on rentals and businesses?

Yes. We work on homes, rentals, offices, shops, churches and restaurants in Mesquite.

How much does water extraction cost?

Published 2026 guides put most Dallas-area mitigation jobs between about $1,300 and $5,800, depending on the water category and how much got wet. You get a written estimate before any work starts. The cost guide has the breakdown.

Do you repair the pipe or the roof?

No. A licensed plumber, roofer or HVAC technician fixes the source, and we extract the water and dry the structure. Both are needed.

Where is LeakRush located?

Our office is at 3213 I-30, Suite 301, Mesquite, TX 75150, on the I-30 corridor. We serve all of Mesquite, on both the Dallas County and Kaufman County sides. See the service area for what tends to fail in each part of town.

Which service do I need if I’m not sure what’s causing the water?

Start with the table at the top of this page, or call and describe what you see. A warm floor and a high bill point to a slab leak, a stain that appears after a storm points to the roof, and a gurgling drain points to the sewer line. We’ll sort it out on the phone.

How fast can you get to my house?

Call and we’ll give you an arrival window on the phone. We don’t publish a response time we can’t prove, so you get the real number for your address on the call. Meanwhile our first 15 minutes guide covers what to do.

What’s the difference between water extraction and water damage restoration?

Extraction is the first step: getting the water out. Mitigation adds removing what can’t be saved, drying and cleaning. Restoration is the rebuild afterward. See how water extraction works.
